Nick Wilson is an independent consultant with an extensive background in public sector leadership, management and policy development. He specialises in learning and skills, employability, business support and social inclusion issues with a focus on putting policy into practice. He is a Board Member of the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE) and a Governor of Treloar College. His Civil Service career ranged from industrial relations legislation to the safety of nuclear installations. He was Director for Skills and Enterprise at the Government Office for the South East and, most recently, Executive Director at the Learning and Skills Council, Surrey
